AI Insight #1: AI Search Engine Showdown

In a recent comparison of ChatGPT, Bing AI, Google Bard, and Google Search, I found intriguing differences in accuracy. Notably, Google Bard amusingly credited me with features in Forbes, Entrepreneur, and authorship of the book ‘One of A Kind Marketing.’

This experiment underscores the variable reliability of AI search engines. Learn more about these AI-driven search technologies in my YouTube Video Tutorial.

AI Insight #2: Simplifying AI Art Copyrights in China

In Beijing, Mr. Li created an AI-generated image using the Stable Diffusion model and shared it online. However, another blogger used this image without permission.

The Beijing Internet Court made a groundbreaking decision, ruling that Mr. Li’s AI-created image deserved copyright protection. This ruling contrasts with the U.S. stance, where AI-generated images are not granted copyright.

I’m surprised that a country like China, which does not care about foreign patents and copyrights, does care about AI copyright. To understand this significant legal development, read about Beijing’s AI Copyright Ruling

AI Insight #3: The EU’s Big AI Law Discussion

In Europe, leaders and policymakers are talking about new rules for AI. They want to make sure AI is used safely and fairly. They are discussing things like:

    >> Should we use AI to watch people in public places?

    >> What kinds of AI should be considered ‘high-risk’ and need extra attention?

    >> Who should be in charge of making sure the AI rules are followed?

Dragoș Tudorache, a prominent figure in the European Parliament, anticipates some areas of contention but notes a strong alignment on the overarching goal of safe and responsible AI use. These discussions are part of a “trilogue” process, setting the stage for future enforceable AI laws in Europe.

Some people, like Dragoș Tudorache from the European Parliament, think these talks will have some disagreements but overall, everyone wants to make AI safe and good.

They are now in a meeting called “trilogue” to agree on the final rules. It might take a few years, but these rules will help everyone use AI the right way. Watch my in-depth video about what the AI Act is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDGp45V-7qg&t
